GUMMY or anyone.... I uninstalled BF2 about 9 months ago. My question is, do we need all the BF2 patches to play DCon? We need a sticky. |

Because I am better soloing then most two man teams.. Just as I thought, your worried about not being able to be the " chopper hero". "chopper whore" would be correct usage, but, i'll give this one to dark ace. their are a lot of people out there that are better solo than with a co pilot, or the other person doesnt see what the pilot see's, whether they're just not paying attention or they are in tv guide mode and don't see whats coming up on the left or right. |

So, um I forgot to ask...Can I still solo in the choppers?!? The Apache and the Hind's missles are controled by the pilot. The missles are dumb fire. Meaning yu shoot them in the direction you want them to go and most of the time it hits the target. No more TV guided. They had to do some tweaking because some things don't work like they did in DC because the BF2 engine's physics are different. The purpose of this MOD was to get it as close to Desert Combat as possible. And it is really close, but like I said the physics engine makes some things work differently. The missles are sweet. However the gunner spot kind of sucks now. The infantry battles are sweet. I think we still need to do some balance tweaking with the different kits. Stick with the CAR and the AK. They bast the poop out of people. There are handheld stingers again!!! And the are effective. No more asshole pilots blasting the crap out of me! The fly boys will be happy though. I really like the way the planes fly. I do have a hard time landing though. I keep landing too early before the gear comes down. Any other questions? |
